Well, I must say moving in the cold is not as strenuous as moving in the heat. Although the roads were a mess and our 12 mile drive probably took 40 minutes, Mike and I loaded the 24 foot truck in about 2 hours and by the time we got to the house, took a break, ate lunch, and were ready to unload, we had neighbors who came in their warm coats, tall boots, and knocked out the final transfer of furniture in under 30 minutes! Many hands DO make light work! THANK YOU to everyone who helped.
